Terms of use
Last updated 12 October 2026
The short version
- These terms cover this website and the Flightraco beta waitlist. The beta app will have its own terms, which you will see before you install it.
- Joining the waitlist is free, and it does not guarantee you a place in the beta.
- Nothing on this site is legal advice. Flightraco never files a claim for you, and it cannot promise that you will be paid compensation.
- You must be 18 or over to join.
- These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia, Canada. If you live elsewhere, you keep the consumer protections of your own country.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Fuzail Chaugle, the individual developer who runs Flightraco. In these terms, “Flightraco”, “we” and “us” mean him, and “the site” means this website.
By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover only the site and the waitlist. The Flightraco iPhone app is not released yet. Before you can install the beta, we will show you the terms that apply to it, and you will be able to decide whether to accept them. Apple’s own terms for TestFlight, its beta-testing service, will also apply.
2. Who can use the site
Anyone can read the site. To join the waitlist, you must be 18 or over and give us an email address that belongs to you.
3. The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist is free.
- It does not guarantee you a place in the beta. We decide how many people to invite, who to invite and in what order, and we may limit places by country, device or other factors.
- We may delay the beta, change its plans, or not run it at all.
- You can leave the waitlist at any time by replying “unsubscribe” to any email from us, or by writing to flightraco@gmail.com.
- We may remove an email address from the waitlist if it was added in breach of these terms, for example by someone other than its owner or by an automated tool.
4. Information on this site
The site describes an app that is still being built. Its features, screenshots and descriptions show what we are working on. They may change before the app is released, and some may never be released.
Anything the site says about passenger rights, flight delays, cancellations or compensation is general information. In particular:
- It is not legal advice. It does not take account of your circumstances. For advice about your own case, speak to a qualified lawyer or the passenger-rights authority for your flight.
- Flightraco never files a claim for you. It does not act for you, negotiate with an airline on your behalf, or take a share of any compensation.
- No outcome is promised. Whether you are owed anything depends on the law that applies to your flight, what caused the disruption, and what the airline can prove. Only the airline, a regulator or a court can decide that.
- Rules change. We try to keep what we say accurate and up to date, but passenger-rights laws and airline policies change. Check the official sources before you rely on anything.
Flightraco is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any airline, airport or regulator. Airline names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify them.
5. Using the site fairly
When you use the site, you must not:
- break any law;
- sign up someone else, or use an email address that is not yours;
- add sign-ups in bulk or with a bot, script or other automated tool;
- scrape, copy or harvest the site’s content or data with automated tools;
- try to get around the site’s security, overload it, or interfere with how it works;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code;
- pretend to be Flightraco, or suggest that we endorse you.
6. Our content and name
The site’s text, design, screenshots and graphics, and the Flightraco name and icon, belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You are welcome to view the site, share links to it, and share screenshots of it for personal, non-commercial purposes. For anything else, such as copying our content into your own product or using our name or icon, please ask us first.
7. Links to other websites
The site links to websites we do not run, such as official passenger-rights guidance and our social media pages. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you visit them.
8. Availability and changes
We provide the site free of charge and “as is”. We may change, suspend or close any part of it at any time, and we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure.
9. Our responsibility to you
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we make no promises about the site beyond those in these terms, and we exclude any implied promises, for example about its accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose;
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data, opportunity or compensation, arising from your use of the site or the waitlist;
- our total liability to you for anything arising from the site or the waitlist is limited to the amount you have paid us to use them, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the place where you live.
10. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect when you use the site or join the waitlist, how we use it, and how to have it deleted.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the site or the law changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change materially affects people on the waitlist, we will email them before it takes effect. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you can leave the waitlist at any time.
12. Law and disputes
If you have a problem with the site, please write to us first at flightraco@gmail.com. We will try to resolve it with you within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about them will be heard by the courts of British Columbia.
If you are a consumer living outside British Columbia, this choice of law and courts does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country or province, and you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live if those laws allow it.
13. General
- These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and the waitlist.
- If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer these terms to a company that Fuzail sets up or joins to run Flightraco. Your rights under these terms will not be reduced as a result. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else.
- These terms are written in English. If we publish a translation and it differs from this version, the English version applies, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
